A market leading organisation requires a Procurement Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a staff member on maternity leave. Number one in their sector, the organisation offers a full-time salary for a 4-day working week!
The post holder will be responsible for the execution of all Procurement projects for two business divisions, providing support to internal clients of all levels of seniority. Working as the primary input from Procurement in the 2 business divisions, the main purpose of the role will be engaging with each of the business on a regular basis to deliver effective supplier management and savings.
The post will require excellent negotiation skills, the ability to develop pricing options, mitigating contractual risk and the ability to deliver savings whilst ensuring service remains at required levels.
Candidates will have confidence in dealing with contracts and negotiating key commercial terms (IP, Liability, SLA, service credits etc.) Effective communication skills enabling strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers. Presenting to groups of people for the purposes of updating exec boards on supplier strategies and training lower level managers about key Procurement skills
Working 4 days a week, of which one day can be worked remotely meaning you will only be office based 3 days a week.
An annual salary of £53,000 plus a 20% bonus is on offer.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a procurement role with marketing as a category focus. Experience within events/service industry/media would be desired.
The role will start in April with a handover/support from the current incumbent.
