Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 18:00pm with weekend working
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Merchandiser to join our busy Marketing team at Trend Machinery and Cutting Tools Ltd, the UK's leading supplier of Trade and DIY power tool accessories to the woodworking industry.
The Business has seen significant growth over recent years and to build on that success, we are looking to recruit a self-motivated individual to deliver the merchandising requirements of the Company and support the sales force in selling Trend’s extensive product range throughout the Southern UK region.
The role will report to the Dealer Support Manager and involve installing, updating and maintenance of Trend’s Points of Sale at Southern UK stockists. Work will vary, but it is essential that applicants are confident in using power tools to build and erect stands and displays at stockists’ premises, which at times can be challenging.
There will also be a requirement to attend retailer and national trade shows to set up and dismantle the Company’s stands and displays, so the roles will require extensive travelling with overnight stays and weekend working.
With a varied working week it is important that the successful candidate has excellent organisational and planning skills to plan and diarise their merchandising workload and working week. There will also need to be a high degree of flexibility in their approach to work to meet the requirements of customers and the Company.
To assist with carrying out the duties of the role, a Company van will be provided and therefore applicants would be expected to have a clean driving license.
