Orka Financial is working with an established FMCG business based in High Wycombe to recruit a Group Reporting Analyst to join their Group Finance team in the company's HQ in High Wycombe. This role will give the successful individual a broad and highly visible position offering a varied range of duties combined with exposure to board level on a regular basis. We are looking to speak with dynamic and highly ambitious individuals who are looking to cut their teeth in a fast paced PLC environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management consolidated accounts for the Group; assist Group Reporting Manager in continuing to develop and strengthen the Group’s internal reporting and results analysis
• Preparation of monthly reporting pack in conjunction with Group Reporting Manager
• Preparation of monthly Treasury Reporting pack
• Covenant and other reporting to banks
• Preparation of the Group statutory accounts financials and assistance with the PLC Annual Report and Accounts
• Consolidation of budgets / forecasts on Group consolidation system in conjunction with Group Reporting Manager
• Ownership, maintenance and development of Group consolidation system
• Development in conjunction with the Group Reporting Manager of the Group Accounting and Reporting Policy manual
• Ensure Group policies are implemented by all entities within the Group
• First point of contact with Group Auditors on reporting issues
• Maintenance of accounts for Group Financing entities
• Preparation of monthly management accounts file and reporting
• Involvement in projects as required by the Group CFO / Group Financial Controller


• Newly Qualified ACA or similar
• Highly accurate with excellent numerical and analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong academics; ability to understand complex issues and to provide solutions quickly
• Able to deliver accurate results within tight timescales
• Culturally sensitive; strong communicator
• Technically up to date with IFRS, but pragmatic commercial approach to issues
• Previous exposure to the requirements of PLC reporting
• Experience of preparing multi-currency consolidations - essential
• Good IT System skills - must be able to quickly learn to become the Super User of the Group Consolidation System; strong Excel / PowerPoint ability
• Able to self-motivate and improve processes and procedures without constant guidance
• Comfortable working in a highly visible role within a small team

Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits
