Your new role
You role will be to act as Project Manager managing the delivery of Development Planning projects to programme and budget in accordance with technical standards. You will manage a range of development planning projects delivering to agreed projects working with their diverse range of clients across the UK and Middle-East engaging with multi- disciplinary teams of professionals. You will Prepare Transport Assessment Travel Plans and inputs into Environmental Statements in consultation with Technical Directors, in addition, provide development control advice to local authority clients. You will also, confidently take day-to-day responsibility to lead a varied workload of project, supervising colleagues, project managing, ensuring achievement of financial goals and contributing strongly to the content and delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a Chartered Professional (CEng, MRTPI, TPP or CMILT) status and have experience of managing and delivering development planning projects including transport assessments and statements. You will have an understanding of UK transport policy, UK planning system and practice and the ability to convert that understanding into practical solutions for our clients. You will be conversant with the appropriate transport planning guidance and have significant experience of using industry standard software such as LINSIG, ARCADY, TRANSYT, TRICS. You will have knowledge of masterplanning and highways design and have a firm grasp of DFT Transport Assessment guidance an DMRB Web Tag requirements.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £51,000 DOE + Benefits including pension scheme, access to company's discount shopping portal and the Employee Assistant Programme.
