A well-established country pub located on the outskirts of Huntingdon is looking to recruit a Head Chef to lead their small team using fresh ingredients to create traditional meals with a modern twist.
Taking full responsibility of managing the kitchen and staff including; ordering stock, maintaining food hygiene, and health and safety records and dealing with EHO when required
Preparing and cooking, fresh food to order using locally sourced ingredients where possible
Create quarterly and seasonal A La Carte menus and specials including costings
Make homemade desserts and pastry
It is essential that applicants have previous A La Carte experience, but not necessarily at a Head Chef level, it is important however to have a real passion for food and to have been in a supervisory role.
Salary is £24,000 to £25,000 per annum plus shared tips of approx. £2,000 + per annum.
Own transport is recommended due to the location.
