International Business Development Executive

Our client is a not-for-profit global network of firms providing audit, accounting, tax and business advisory services. They are now looking for an International Business Development Executive to join their team.

The International Business Development Executive (IBDE) is the primary driver of research for country and city growth within the network. The IBDE identifies primary target countries and cities and maintains overall momentum of new accountancy firm recruitment.

The International Business Development Executive will undertake desk based research, as well as developing their own networks to provide the Board with a complete 'picture’ of the target country/region.

You will agree a short-term and medium-term target list and proactively research new member firms in-line with agreed priorities. You’ll use established methodologies and contact groups, including professional bodies such as the ACCA and Chambers of Commerce.

Managing the monthly and ad hoc Board reports, you will liaise with identified target firms in order to gather country and/or firm level information and complete applications for the Board to view.

You’ll provide the Board Director with an assessment of prospective firms identified from research activities, and continuously follow up with firms to keep leads warm and engaged using thought leadership materials.

Clearly communicating with potential member firms, you’ll also inform them of the financial implications of joining our client.

Your other duties will involve:

- Maintaining promotional materials for recruiting firms in new country territories, cities and from existing networks
- Supporting the Board Directors to prepare for on-site visits and subsequent reports
- Suggesting, creating and managing the preparation of network growth focused workshops

The IBDE will work closely to support the strategic development of the organisation alongside the Executive Director.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience in a business development role, ideally including experience of membership sales.

Please note, the working hours for this role are 9:30 - 17:30, Monday - Friday.
