A multinational marketing business based in West London are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Supervisor to join their Accounts Receivable team on a contract basis.

The role will involve the following responsibilities:

*Oversee client accounts across specified territories. Achieve agreed Key performance indicators for cash collection and aged debt (% of total debt greater than 90 days overdue)
*Ensure Client credit assessment, AR and Collections processes include strong financial controls and follow clearly defined procedures at all times thereby minimising the risk of loss or material misstatement of the financial statements arising through error, omission or fraud.
*Ensure credit assessment requests and compliance checks are performed in line with policies and within agreed timeframe; provide a sound and compliant recommendation for credit set-up to the Revenue & Projects manager and client leads; define processes and establish information sources for ongoing monitoring and assessment of client credit risk, taking into account geopolitical, industry-related and client specific factors.
*Oversee AR matching, approve receipt write-offs above defined limits, and review and challenge on a regular and robust basis all reconciliations and explanations of AR balances and associated provision balances.
*Ensure the overall delivery of accurate and timely cash collections in line with company policies and commercial arrangements such that all balances are correctly stated at all times.
*Set and monitor weekly/monthly/quarterly collection performance targets and ensure regular status reports are prepared, reviewed and acted upon, including prompt and regular escalation of overdue debt with external clients and internal client directors.
*Document, implement and act as process champion for best practices across all credit and collections processes and systems.
*Manage a team of credit controllers deliver centralised and standardised processes; set individual and team performance targets, ensure performance is regularly reviewed, blockers to high performance are identified and removed, and individuals are supported in their development.
