We are looking for a delivery manager with a proven track record within fibre build projects to drive FTTH projects across Berkshire/Buckinghamshire/Hertfordshire for this telecoms business.

The company are continuing to experience rapid growth and reporting to the Head of Build, the key objective of the delivery managers is to ensure the build and delivery of the fibre network is in line with operational KPI`s and targets.

This is a fast moving network roll out position and the targets for customers being live on the network are testing, so your main challenges will be driving day to day performance, working alongside civils, network engineering and the network planning departments in the business.

You`ll be someone who can drive day to day operational performance and will be flexible to work across the Berkshire/Buckinghamshire/Hertfordshire region.

You`ll be accountable for the project deployment and implementation of a FTTH network in the Berkshire/Buckinghamshire/Hertfordshire region, working alongside project managers and technical counterparts. This is an operational role that will be moving from site to site and driving performance through a layer of supervisors.

Who are you?

It`s essential that you are a Project Delivery Manager with a detailed understanding of how a fibre network is built in the UK.

You`ll have the blend of civils, fibre, network build, project delivery and project management within a NRSWA environment. One of the well-known project methodology backgrounds such as Prince 2 would be good but this is a delivery role, not a project management position so we are not classing the qualifications as being essential.

You`ll understand the day to day challenges that can come with this type of project and you`ll know how things work when dealing with legislation, local authorities, contract partners and the government.

The Company:

Rapidly expanding technology company who are recognised as being one of the best prospects in their field. They have a full order book of business and have been recruiting a number of senior figures from around the technology sector. This project delivery position will join at a crucial stage of their business evolution and you`ll have the chance to play your part in building the network and ensuring customers are receiving service in line with targets and expectations.

Basic to £45k with £6,000 car allowance, 25 days holidays & pension would also be included.
