My client is a large well known firm operating throughout the UK and they are looking to recruit an experienced Employment Solicitor with 7 years+ PQE to handle a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for commercial clients.
The firm is seeking to recruit an ambitious, career driven lawyer to join their Milton Keynes office, reporting to the national Head of Employment. You will help build and manage a varied case-load working with large commercial clients, whilst also driving business development to increase market share with new and existing clients. You will have excellent client management skills, and will be used to operating at client facing level; building long term relationships and networks with ranging businesses and clients. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience in employment law, with case-load's that can includes: advising clients on performance management, re-structuring, consultation, settlement agreements, TUPE and redundancy, implementing disciplinary proceedings and managing employee grievances and complaints. Drafting and negotiating employment contracts and consultancy agreements, restrictive covenants and injunctions, directors duties and responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years PQE, gained with a reputable firm, with a background in handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, mainly for commercial clients. You will be a consistent biller with a good reputation in the region with a network of contacts and a following. The firm are looking for ambitious candidates that are operating at a Senior Associate / Partner level and are able to offer leading packages to secure the best candidates in the market.
