Role Overview

We have a great opportunity for an experienced, digitally savvy Junior Account Director who can demonstrate excellent campaign management skills and has an aptitude for crafting compelling copy and creative thinking. The Junior Account Director will join the EMEA hub team of one of our top 5 global clients and must have experience working on pan-EMEA or global campaigns.

The breadth of the role is wide and varied and in this role you will be part of the creative development of integrated campaigns with a high level of inter-agency working. The team develop strategic campaigns that convey client messaging to build brand affinity and drive product trial.


  • Create and present PR plans/proposals for on-going PR programmes and projects
  • Responsible for developing press materials, cultivating multi- media relationships and pitching content
  • Managing work in progress reports, results, media monitoring and event research
  • Demonstrate leadership within account teams, and work closely with account teams on a daily basis
  • Providing strategic counsel to clients, assess issues and define logical, effective solutions
  • Lead client conversations regarding channel strategies, highlighting and building on experience of delivering integrated campaigns
  • Generate creative ideas and solutions for pitching, events and the overall PR programme

Skills and experience required

  • Proven PR agency experience to at least Account Manager level and ready to take the next step in your career
  • Experience of working across integrated channels
  • Must have experience working on EAME accounts within the petrochemicals sector
  • Stand-out organisational skills, with experience of working with internal and inter-agency teams
  • Strong experience of working across complementary B2B communications and B2C brand-building campaigns
  • Working across EAME projects worth in excess of £500k
  • Experience and interest in Motorsport
  • Proven skills in developing strong media relationships, proactively identifying and driving media opportunities which support the client’s business objectives
  • Ability to digest complex information and turn into compelling written copy
  • Experience of working across big multi-functional teams including PR, digital, social and production
  • Fluency in digital/social media platforms, tools and solutions, with experience in selling to relatively conservative clients
  • Lateral thinking - ability to join the dots between various projects, campaigns and teams
  • A high level of attention to detail, precision and financial administration
