Sheridan Maine Public Practice is delighted to be working with this high respected top 10 accountancy firm who are currently offering a six month contract job for an Accounts Senior based in their Southampton office.

Working for this prestigious firm, you will be exposed to a variety of different clients including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and trusts. As Audit Senior, your role will include:

- Dealing directly with the client in order to communicate current requirements and job progress.
- Working directly with junior staff in order to plan, assign and monitor work, as well as offering training and budget control.
- Working directly with audit preparation and completion.
- Drafting accounts and submission to the manager for review.
- Working closely with the manager and directors in order to resolve queries and met deadlines.

As a successful applicant you will have prior experience working within an audit based position and hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA or ACCA) or have an equivalent level of experience.

You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and an ability to supervise junior staff. Sheridan Maine Public Practice can confirm that this position will be to fulfil a six month contract.
