About The Role

As LEAD IQA you will work closely with our Quality Manager & Head of Quality and Compliance to achieve agreed volumes for learner engagement, retention and achievement in line with business strategy and plans.

To make this happen you will have experience in the design and development of training through recognised systems i.e. SAT or ADDIE methodologies, in order to set the standards of classroom delivery expected by external awarding and funding bodies, including Ofsted. You will support standardisation activities in liaison with Delivery managers, including direct delivery of teaching, learning and assessment skills training.

You will support Delivery managers to continuously improve programmes, including next generation blended learning solutions, to ensure that learners successfully complete their apprenticeships by planned achievement dates.

Your Skills & Experience Needed

  • CAVA/A1/D32/33 Assessor’s award desirable

  • D34/V1/TAQA Leading the IQA process desirable

  • Recognised teaching qualification to at least level 4 i.e. DTLLs, CTTLs, Cert Ed essential

  • Detailed knowledge and proven track record in the use of blended learning programmes

  • Ability to develop and design training programmes, lesson plans and materials

  • Proven record of working to at least Ofsted Grade 2 standards

  • Detailed knowledge of apprenticeship programmes

  • Flexibility in travel and willingness to stay away from home on occasions

  • Strong team player, but can lead from the front

  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexible and adaptable to change

  • Thorough and detailed orientated
