Up to £24,000 DOE

Our client is a rapidly-growing IT services company with an impressive customer base. They are now looking for a 1st Line Engineer to join their passionate team.

As a 1st Line Support Engineer, you’ll work within our client’s busy helpdesk and provide customers with a first-class level of service.

In this exciting role, where no two days are the same, you will:

- Resolve queries and issues relating to workstations, servers, printers, networks and vendor specific hardware and software
- Ensure that configurations, contact information and assets are kept up to date
- Set up new users and reset passwords using Active Directory
- Provide customers with regular status updates
- Build excellent working relationships with customers

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need:

- Experience of MS Windows platforms, particularly 7 and 8, including installation, configuration and trouble-shooting
- In-depth knowledge of ConnectWise and Labtech
- A basic understanding of MS Windows Server 2008/12
- A basic technical understanding of networks, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and security
- The ability to administer Active Directory and Exchange Server
