Established in 1947 they specialise in the design and installation of mechanical and electrical services on construction projects in all major sectors. They are a privately owned family business with an unrivalled reputation within the building services sector.

As one of the most successful Building Services Contractors in the South our client continue to win high profile projects, and in order to service these and to fulfil their growth plans, they are currently undertaking an aggressive expansion plan which includes the hiring of a number of key individuals.They work in partnership with a number of leading Main Contractors as well as working directly for end users and essentially operate as a Principal Contractor, and unlike the majority of their competitors the company possess the scale and commitment to create end-to-end solutions for their projects. They are involved in multi-sector projects with typical contract values ranging from £5k up to £5m.

Your new role

Core Responsibilities

Day-to-day running of projects for the client through the entire project within budget and set timescales.
Business analysis reporting.
Ongoing support of solutions.
Management of project team.
Management and compliance of Sub Contractors and Material.
Liaising with the Regional Manager of future resource requirements.
Overseeing all aspects of site H&S.

Core Competencies

Ability to manage project delivery phase, liaising with clients and users, facilitating workshops and documenting user requirements.
Ability to scope, plan and budget projects, incorporating crucial details such as risk management and return on investment.
Ability to give sufficient input into the technical analysis of the project.
Ability to work with Client and clients team, keeping them informed of any problems.
Ability to supervise all those in the team, applying hands-on management when necessary.
Ability to foster a successful team-working environment whilst also helping to motivate individuals.
Ability to ensure that all projects are executed within budget, to time and to high standards.

What you'll need to succeed
Proven background and experience of project management.
Good communicator, able to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry.
Excellent customer / interpersonal skills.
Previous experience of Construction / M&E / MOD projects useful.
