UK Sales Director - Luxury Fine Fragrance

Salary: £90,000 - £150,000 + Bonus Scheme TBC + Initial 12 Month Contract

Based: London

The Requirements:

  • To be considered for the position of Sales Director you will need to have at least 5 years’ experience selling B2B in the luxury fragrance, perfume, luxury scents, fine fragrance or high-end home fragrance at a senior level

  • Possess a strong understanding of the luxury beauty industry in the UK and maintain great relationships within key premium retailers such as Harrods, Selfridges, Liberty, House of Fraser, Space NK for the UK and Brown Thomas in Ireland

  • Be commercially analytical with a strong customer focus

  • Have a solid experience of managing, motivating and directing others

  • Being results focused and always looking for the next opportunity to drive the business forward and increase sales

  • Be confident, personable and able to inspire and command respect across all levels of the business with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to multi task and work within a small business environment

The Role:

  • As the Sales Director you will be working directly with the Global Business Development Manager undertaking a fully autonomous role developing and executing strategies to drive the client’s retail within brand equity guidelines and to ensure the on-going achievement of all sales and profit targets

  • Executing and developing business plans and activity for all key retail partners and build collaborative relationships with them to ensure the continued growth of the brand

  • Leading, motivating and developing the sales team to align and engage the team in the vision and to develop talent and capability within the Sales Division

  • Contributing to the development and execution of the brand’s strategies and work closely with key stake holders to develop and execute specific initiatives

  • Developing key relationships and sales across all existing clients and potential new clients by building long-term mutually beneficial customer relations

  • Providing reports on the department on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Delivering training and education to the team where required

  • Their products are sold in premium retail outlets such as Harrods & Selfridges and the brand has been in the Top 5 Best Performing fragrance brands in Harrods

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales/ Sales Director who may be currently working in high-end, prestige, premium fragrance or similar company to join a small but very successful company, increase sales, open new doors & drive the business forward
