The purpose of the role is to provide administrative and sales support as part of the new business team.

Salary £14,500 - £17,500 with Cert CII
Previous Insurance experience is desirable
Hours Monday to Friday between 8.30am - 6pm on a rota basis (7.5 hours per day)
Saturdays 9am - 12:45 on an overtime basis on a rolling rota (compulsory) but adds a further c.£1k

Carry out office administration and client service duties as required
To work within FCA rules and guidelines and follow the company's compliance procedures
Learn and progressively sell new products as required; cross sell additional insurance products to existing clients
Learn and understand Transactor software and database in order to input data; produce renewal invitations and certificates of insurance.
Provide quotations to clients in writing, on the telephone, by fax or email
Resolve any client problems and handle mid-term adjustments as required
Attend outside shows, events, motor dealer visits or meetings with Insurance Companies, Advertisers, Clubs etc

Must have
Previous Insurance experience Cert CII - Desirable
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
Great Keyboard skills - Microsoft Windows
