A global publishing company are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to help produce timely, accurate and value-adding reporting information to the stakeholders of the business. Responsibilities will encompass the complete annual management reporting cycle (month end, forecasting, budgeting), and ad hoc report development and analysis.

The company is a established global publishing group specialising in magazines and books.

Description

Successful candidates will be given duties which include:

To assist in the day to day responsibilities specific to the book division, ensuring deadlines are met and provide support to the Finance Manager.

Manage the end to end processes for stock reporting including Ppb cost (printer, paper, binding), Origination, R&D and Distribution

To contribute to the preparation of the monthly management accounts, including the preparation of the financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations, check through all relevant accounts to ensure accuracy in terms of quality and timing.

Manage theworkflow and relationship between the UK and outsource partner in India.

To contribute to monthly reporting to our parent company in Denmark, providing variance analysis commentary.

To assist in the preparation of budgets and quarterly re-forecast in conjunction with individual budget holders

Contribute towards continued process improvements

To provide commercial support to budget holders, key stakeholders, production, editors and publishing services

Job Offer
