Job Title: Business Development Manager
Package: £45,000 and £60,000 Basic + OTE
About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of software to the private equity industry. They are a well-known brand with an increasingly global reach, and have recently been acquired which makes them an even stronger player in the market. They share office space with them and are head-quartered in the City of London with additional offices in New York, Buenos Aires and now Singapore.
Working as part of the sales team you will be selling our clients market leading portfolio monitoring software, delivered as a Software as a Service, primarily to private equity fund managers. You will be expected to build relationships with key decision makers and grow a sales pipeline from prospecting to negotiation and closing. The role will require extensive presentation skills and existing experience selling into the private equity industry will be preferred. You will also be required to attend industry conferences.
The role provides exceptional exposure to the business of fund managers as well as an understanding of portfolio analysis and valuation techniques.
The Successful Applicant:
It is essential the candidate has sold into the Private Equity space before and has a strong understanding. You will also speak a European language (French or German) This is a consultative sales process where the ideal candidate would demonstrate self-motivation, diligence, and a natural aptitude for successfully building relationships. role would suit someone with experience of medium/long cycle business-to-business sales looking for a new challenge.
It is essential that the successful candidate quickly develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of the company's product offerings, the market in which our client operates, industry trends and competitor's offerings.
