My client is a leading player in the savings and investment market. With over 25 millions customers, and more than £135 billions invested they are one of the largest savings organisations in the UK.

They have vacancy for a talented Head of Marketing Planning & Data to develop nand deliver all of the data for their direct marketing and email communications across the board.

This is an exciting role to join as a maternity cover for a period of 12months.  

You will;
• Provide subject matter expertise in the use of Marketing Platforms and the data that feeds them including campaign management software, marketing automation platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Develop the use of technology with the outsourcing partner and software agencies, embedding the use of technology for the planning development and deployment of the communications.
• Be accountable for developing and delivering all of the data for the direct marketing and email communications across marketing, research and intermediaries; providing direction to the Data Planning Manager and colleagues across the board
• Be responsible for the development and management of the tactical and strategic integrated communications plan, guiding the Marketing Planning Manager to determine the most effective mix of marketing & communications.
• Be an information asset owner – representing the team helping to shape the function and embed ways of working into the business.
• Be responsible for the management and development of the Marketing Planning Manager and Data Planning Manager.

Skills and experience required:
• Extensive marketing experience –both ATL and BTL
• Extensive experience development marketing plans, technical marketing data planning or marketing data warehouse management (agency or client side)
• Experience working in a regulated environment, with extensive financial services knowledge
• Extensive Data Protection Act knowledge, including a good understanding of data handling obligations within a marketing context
• A relevant degree and/or professional qualification
• Strong numerical and commercial capabilities
• Leadership and relationship building skills to ensure senior level buy-in and delivery from suppliers, partners and the business itself
