Business Development Executive, Hays Career Transition Services, London Victoria

Your New Business Hays Career Transition is a division within Hays which supports organisations and individuals going through change we support individuals facing redundancy and redeployment. Our services include coaching, workshops and on-line resources. Being part of Hays Specialist Recruitment, FTSE 250, we are able to utilise our expertise in the world of work and fuse this with first class coaching and training delivery to provide a career transition service of the highest quality across the UK. We were established in 2009 but have grown the client-base significantly across the private, public and third sector.

Your New Role Utilising Hays' reputation as experts in the 'World of Work' you shall be responsible for targeting and developing relationships with senior HR and procurement leaders with the aim of offering tailored career transition solutions. Your clients will be a mix of those who have engaged with us previously, those using competitors and others who may be considering career transition options for the first time. Success in this field stems from pro-active business development, building internal engagement with other parts of Hays as well as promoting our programmes via social media. Having created a solution for your client, you will then act as the liaison between client and our project team to ensure an effective implementation of the project.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you should have at least 1 year HR, professional services and or recruitment sales, proven business development skills with the ability to build credible working relationships at all levels with both existing and new clients. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to deliver high calibre presentations. With strong commercial acumen you should be able to identify business opportunities but also balance this with account management skills to ensure that programmes are successful and additional solutions are identified.
