Genesis Care and Support has put in place a growth strategy in place which sets out how we intend to develop our business over the next five years and this post is integral to making these ambitions happen. As part of a newly formed team you will be responsible for adding to our portfolio of services and increasing our revenue streams by leading on bids for tendered support and care services.

You will respond to tender opportunities from Local Authorities, CCG's and NHS Trusts, assessing business fit and business risk and then taking the lead and overall responsibility for complex and high value tenders. You will work with Care and Support Operations to develop innovative service models which meet the demands of the specification and will take the bid through an internal approval process with other internal partners. You will also take lead responsibility for writing well-structured, persuasive narratives which will fulfil quality requirements in a highly competitive market.

You will work alongside the Commercial Development Managers and Business Analyst on other key areas of development and growth: building more extra care and specialist housing, delivering integrated care/health and support services to vulnerable groups and people with complex needs and developing innovative and interesting care, support and housing products that meet commissioners requirements and customer needs.

You will manage a Business Development Officer who will complete PQQ's, support with tender writing and service modelling along with overall business support for the team.

You're commercially minded and driven but also have experience of care and support services or working with vulnerable groups, and you understand social care statutory frameworks and funding. We are looking for someone who has a track record of securing new business in housing related support or adult social care. You will be an excellent communicator and influencer, able to build and maintain great partnerships both internally and externally.

You can produce excellent written work to deadline and manage competing priorities. You are skilled at financial modelling for new/remodelled business initiatives and you're organised, creative, providing the business with good ideas and solutions.
