Care Home Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Care home manager for their home in Basingstoke. Our clients home is a residential home located within a quiet suburban area of Basingstoke. They accommodate for 15 residents in 12 single and 3 shared rooms that are suitable for older age and dementia clients. They provide first-class 24-hour nursing and residential care, which is focused at longer stay clients.

Every candidate must have at least 2 years' management experience in an elderly care service setting and must have at least Level 5 Health and Social Care Diploma with management qualification or equivalent.

The wage is dependent on experience and qualifications and will be discussed upon interview

Key Tasks:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of the home and ensuring its effective operation at all times.
  • To ensure the home provides and maintains the highest level of care and service in accordance with the homes mission, vision, policies, and procedures.
  • To ensure person centred care planning is established, maintained, and implemented for all service users.
  • To manage effectively and efficiently all allocated resources of the Home both human and financial
  • To plan the daily and weekly management of the home and ensure that all staff carry out their duties and responsibilities

Required:

  • Full driving license
  • IT Literate
  • Good Leadership skills
  • Committed to High Standards
  • Satisfactory DBS check and POVA
