An experienced Sales Manager is required for this company in theFMCG market, clients will be in the arts and entertainment business.
You will be working on a portfolio of leading events Good telesales experience with proven resultsExcellent relationship building skills that maintain and generate key client relationshipsProactively lead source from all other mediumsDevelop new initiatives to drive strong sales results and enhance the event offeringGenerate new business across a number of varied industry sectorsConfident and articulate in meetings and networking eventsDevelop an in depth understanding of the market landscapeMaintain and develop a sales database including record of key contacts and communicationBuild and implement a successful sales & marketing strategy plan across each eventExecute a consistent and well thought out sales communication scheduleManipulate/translate visitor marketing strategies/plans into exhibitor sales benefitsImplement a customer care programme that maintain strong relationships, ensures efficient on site deliver and drives show loyaltyEnsure re-booking process is implemented to achieve required targetsAbility to focus in a target led environment and meet deadlines and work under pressureContribute ideas– read industry press, exploit knowledge to spot new opportunitiesRetain integrity of events by adhering to set processes and maintaining high yieldExcellent administration and presentation skillsOversee all aspects of the reporting process to ensures all figures are up to date and accurateComprehensive knowledge of campaign with weekly and monthly accurate sales forecastingLiaise with other internal departments/functions – marketing, operations, conferences, accounts, PR etc.Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etcShould be prepared to work occasional weekends during event season and long hoursShould be prepared to travel (from time to time) for eventsKey Results AreasMaximise potential revenue to achieve/exceed event targetsPersonal and team targets are achieved and exceededLead show targets are achieved and exceededAgenda management and delivery within agreed time framesManagement reportingClients receive a dependable and personal serviceDevelopment goals are delivered to set performance targetsActive contributor to the entire sales teamCreative thinker that enhances event content through unique ideasDevelop key brand /sponsorship level client relationships
