Business Development Manager
£38,000 - £42,000 + bonus of up to £8,500, company car, phone and laptop. 25 days holiday
North London/Hertfordshire (Based from home)
A reputable and market leader in the manufacture of products for the construction industry are now seeking a Business Development Manager to serve there two major divisions in specialist products for the drainage construction industry for buildings.
The experienced Business Development Manager will report to the Nation Sales Manager and work alongside the Business Development Manager across the UK. You will cover areas in East Anglia, Essex and North London.
Main tasks and duties:
*The ideal candidate will have worked within a field sales position before and is happy to be on the road
*Has an understanding of construction products or has sold products to the construction industry
*Introduce and develop demand for the drainage products by explaining the benefits, availability and technical support
*Negotiate project sales, national, regional or local price agreements seeking preferred product status with existing and potential customers
*Identify key companies, individuals and develop appropriate business plans
*Support and develop a small number of trained, specialist drainage merchants through training and joint visits
*Use company database to record and communicate key project information
Qualifications and skills required:
*5 years' experience in the selling of construction products and specification
*Sales and presentation training
*Able to demonstrate technically complex products and design procedures to a diverse audience from site operatives to architects and engineers
*Have a understanding of construction products and procedures in the UK market
*Good presentation and organisation sills
*Self-motivated and a desire
This position is a full time role working Monday to Friday, with 25 days holiday plus back holidays and employee benefits.
