A specialist and experienced fee-earner, Solicitor, Legal Executive or Lawyer now required to take on a full case load of Charity & Education work. 
Our client is a highly regarded private practice law firm that works closely with leading clients in a variety of sectors; providing specialist legal advice coupled with expertise and regional insight. The firm prides itself on its joined up service to both private individuals and companies and building refreshing client relationships to truly understand their needs and their industry.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their Charity & Education team located in Southampton. This role would suit a fee-earner with previous experience and who has a strong interest in this area of law. 
The Education team has significant experience acting for local authorities and Diocesan Boards of Education on a full range of education matters. They are passionate about working in the education sector (a number of our team are school governors) and over the years have developed strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Department for Education (DfE). Their regional office allows them to deliver a high quality service to education clients across London and the South of England at a competitive price. 
The Charity team is one of the firm’s specialist teams, focused on working with charitable and not for profit clients. It provides practical, innovative and cost effective advice to a number of significant charities, social enterprises and not for profit organisations. 
The candidate - key requirements: 
Experience working within private Charity and Educational law.Experience in managing own caseload.Confident user of a Case Management System.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Able to work under pressure and to tight and conflicting deadlines.Able and willing to take responsibility for and conclude actions.The integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.Committed team player.Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.The ability to be adaptable and flexible.Good IT skills in Word and other Microsoft products such as Outlook.
