A well-established Travel representation company has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PR Co-coordinator with travel sector experience to join them. You will be Implementing PR Plans and proposals and providing strategic direction to clients and team members. If you have the attributes of a PR Co-coordinator we want to hear from you!

As PR Co-coordinator you will manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day running of all PR activity across a number of high profile accounts. You'll have a thorough understanding of PR and communications strategies and how to effectively implement and integrate them.

*To represent specified client accounts (destinations and airlines) in a professional and knowledgeable way to national and travel trade press
*To generate coverage for clients in national/travel trade/lifestyle/specialized media
*To coordinate and execute social media campaigns
*To actively participate in new business development and client pitches through new idea generation
*To identify new opportunities to promote the services of the company and client accounts via public relations and press activity
*Maintaining editorial contacts with key national and travel trade press
*Maximizing opportunities to promote the accounts through well-placed press releases in relevant media publications
*Preparing and distributing press releases
*Negotiating and organising press visits for specified client account destinations, accompanying when necessary
*Negotiating and organising marketing promotions for specified client accounts with third party contributors
*Conceptualizing and executing social media campaigns

*Degree level: Bachelor (preferably, in Media or Communications)
*High standard of written and spoken English
*2-5 years' experience working in lifestyle or travel PR
*PR agency experience preferred
*Personal connections to leading travel/lifestyle journalists/freelancers/influencers
*Experience conceptualizing and executing social media campaigns is essential
*Experience with social media community management is appreciated
*Experience working with media databases
*Strong written communication skills (press releases, press kits, social media content, etc.)
*Strong oral communication skills (story pitching, briefings, presentations, etc.)
*Knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point programmes
*Negotiating skills
*Ability to work under pressure, resilience
*Ability to work unsupervised
*Ability to supervise and mentor junior members of the team
*Ability to communicate at all levels

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £25k - £30k DOE
