The Corporate Property Team plays a central role in the Council’s agenda to become financially self-sustainable by driving growth and attracting inward investment. The team is a leader on a range of economic, social and capital projects including management of the Council’s significant land and property portfolio. With the focus to extract maximum value and support the delivery of the Council’s broader corporate objectives.

As a Senior Building Surveyor you will:

  • Take ownership of key projects

  • Play an integral part in the team, providing senior level technical property management expertise

  • Drive and execute strategies and supporting the management of the Council’s operational and non-operational property portfolio.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering service excellence, with good commercial results.

  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or similar technical discipline with a minimum of two years' PQE
  • Member of RICS

  • Proven practical experience in managing large scale works/building contracts
