This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join this professional and friendly team. Essential requirements are in-house payroll Sage and Excel experience. Looking from 2 years+ experience.

Duties:

  • Processing payroll

  • Data entry for new starters, leavers and transfers

  • Processing all employee changes

  • Producing all statutory calculations - Tax / NI / SMP / SSP

  • Pension scheme deductions and alterations

  • Benefit scheme changes

  • Timesheet & overtime entry

  • Processing payroll deductions

  • Producing reconciliation reports for payroll sign off

  • Resolving all pay queries and correction of errors

  • Producing accounting journals for input into Accounts package

  • Year End P60s, P11ds

  • Reports / Reconciliations

  • Benefit Administration

Skills and Experience

• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly numerate
• Excellent problem solving/judgment skills and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
• Ability to improve current methods to work in a more efficient manner
