Family-feel and very fast paced hedge fund based in Mayfair is currently seeking a self-starting Accounts Assistant & Office Assistant / Office Administrator. This Finance Assistant is a key hire, and the successful individual will have a passion for organising / helping others, be keen to learn about hedge funds, and not be afraid of basic numbers (you will be numerate with strong Excel skills, ideally Advanced including formulas, linking spreadsheets, v look ups, pivot tables etc.)

This is a busy, hardworking, energetic and sociable office with a flat structure, where you will work closely with the Senior Accountant and Operations Director, providing a mixture of general office support and finance and accounts administration:

Finance Assistant / Office Administrator duties

  • End of Day and Month End P & L Reporting
  • Extensive liaison with investment and marketing / investor relations teams and brokers
  • Cash flow reporting and forecasting
  • Cash reconciliations
  • Data entry
  • Compiling Fund performance data, preparing papers for Board meetings, coordinating investor packs, Fund reports, Investor letters, and circulating investor committee meeting minutes ensuring follow up
  • Reception and meeting and greeting when required
  • PA support to COO
  • Portfolio project support

circa. 25k-27k plus bonus & pension.

8am - 4.30 / 4.45pm
