An excellent opportunity is now available for an experienced Business Development Manager to join this leading global organisation, based out of their Suffolk office.
A largely field based role, you would be responsible for building and maintaining relationships and developing new business.
Quite a corporate sales approach would be needed for this particular role, as you would be selling into high end product owners, discussing the advantages of working together with my client.

The key tasks within this role include but are not limited to;
*Working with new and existing suppliers to identify and secure new opportunities for product growth
*Ensure that all information needed for web and brochure presentation is accurately supplied for capture onto the content management system
*Alongside the head of business development review account profitability and ensure all opportunities to increase profit are maximised
*Support in the procurement of promotions and offers, working closely with suppliers to help communicate where appropriate any promotional opportunities and secure supplier involvement
*Negotiate terms and ensure all contracts are returned from new suppliers

The ideal candidate for this position would be someone who;
*Comes from a B2B background and is familiar with working to targets and deadlines
*Has the ability to confidently deliver presentations to potential client
*Has a keen eye for detail and is extremely thorough
*Has excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to independently hold and manage regular high level meetings
*Is happy to travel throughout the UK including overnight stays.

A basic salary is on offer together with a bonus, fully expensed company car and very generous benefits package.
