Ticketmaster is seeking an enthusiastic Intern to join our International eCommerce Product Management team, which is part of Ticketmaster UK. As Product Intern, you will assist in building products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on industry best practices.
During the Internship, you will be working daily with experienced Product Managers, Software Engineers and business representatives from across 13 Ticketmaster markets. You will be involved in the full life cycle of website features, from gathering requirements, development, deployment to the live Ticketmaster websites and measuring performance thereafter.
You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the live events market, the competitive landscape in which we operate and Ticketmaster’s eCommerce Product offerings.
Our systems work at scale; handling tens of thousands of concurrent users, selling thousands of tickets for massive sporting, music, multi-show stadium, touring, festivals and thousands of smaller events globally. Every large event on-sale is a Black Friday for us. Working at this scale and keeping up with rapidly changing technology ensure even the most innovative person will be consistently challenged and pushed to ensure we deliver quality solutions in a highly collaborative and diverse organisation.
REQUIREMENTS - SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Graduate or pursuing postgraduate degree, business computing or engineering major preferred
- Demonstrable interest in eCommerce, mCommerce and transactional websites
- Great communication skills, both written and spoken
- Demonstrable comfort with technical and business concepts through coursework or prior experience
- Ability to quantify business benefits based on measurable outcomes
- Well-developed analytical skills
- Familiarity with mobile eCommerce solutions, including responsive design, is desirable
We are currently recruiting for a number of roles across our product team and each role focuses on a different area of Product Management. This is a full time (Monday - Friday 9.30am-5.30pm ) paid internship that will be recruited on a 12 month fixed term contract commencing in September 2017.
