Essex Life magazine celebrates the very best aspects of life in this fabulous county - all wrapped up in a beautiful monthly magazine. Each issue offers readers the chance to explore Essex with features on the county’s towns and villages plus interviews with the celebrities and most celebrated residents of Essex.

This opportunity is focussed entirely on our property portfolio, covering the whole of Essex; you will be meeting estate agents, letting agents, builders and other businesses connected to the property market to understand their marketing / advertising plans and ensure that their current advertising campaigns grow in success.

We are looking for an experienced sales professional who has a proven track record managing regular client accounts. You will need to develop a deep understanding of the portfolio of products and understand what drives successful multi-platform campaigns in the property sector.

You will be used to managing your time effectively, thrive on self-motivation as well as being a great team player. Experience in media, publishing, magazine or newspaper sales would be an advantage.

The challenging, yet fulfilling role, will really give you the chance to shine and develop existing long term relationships to the next level. Alongside a professional sales approach, you must be able to communicate at all levels.

You are a charismatic and proactive self-starter who enjoys working on your own initiative, and are outgoing, personable and unwaveringly positive. You are an individual who prides yourself on making a lasting impact across a range of varying clients. You are also highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, and while we’re not looking for techie geeks, you are a web user and know your Twitter from your Instagram.

You are a motivated individual with experience working in a fast-paced face-to-face sales environment, ideally from an advertising/media industry with a thorough understanding of the sales process and a professional, consultative approach.

You are confident and enjoy building relationships and communicating the benefits of our market-leading advertising services, and will be used to anticipating and overcoming objections.

Above all else, you are a trustworthy and hardworking individual, passionate about selling and someone who gets a real buzz from hunting for sales and achieving results, whilst thriving under the pressure of a target-driven environment.
