Sales Account Manager
We are a well-established publishing company who are seeking an Account Manager due to company expansion and growth. This is an exciting opportunity to progress a career within sales and join a growing and reputable company who are a global leader.
In return we offer a salary of up to £30k basic with an OTE of approx. £10k. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm with 21 days holiday and free parking. Overseas travel will be required, 6 - 8 times per year.
We are an International enterprise supplying into 150 countries across all five major continents and our head office is based in Farnham. Our clients vary from blue chip companies to smaller SME’s. You would join a team of 30 plus employees and be part of a dynamic and forward thinking organisation. Our publications are primarily aimed at the energy and construction sector and are recognised worldwide.
The Account Manager will join a warm desk whereby they will be given a customer base of established customers. The main duties will involve:
- Managing a portfolio of accounts
- Engaging in project management duties
- Attending meetings with clients
- Email Marketing
- Managing repeat business
- Using contacts to generate new business
- Visiting clients both UK based and abroad
To be suitable for the Account Manager role, you will have 2 - 5 years experience in a Sales/Account Management and or Business Development role and have an interest in publishing. You will ideally be of graduate calibre and have some exposure to the Publishing industry but this is not essential.
Candidates from a background in sales, business development and account management are relevant for this role.
