Commercial Insurance Account Handler

West Sussex

This well known company has an excellent reputation for staff training and development. Providing the full broking service for scheme and non-scheme based Commercial Insurance clients - retailers, offices, traders, property owners, leisure groups etc.

A key focus of this role is to look after a portfolio of long standing client relationships - offering the dedication and market expertise to ensure retention of the business, with the efficient handling of renewals - re-quoting, and re-broking to the market to obtain the best terms and cover.

Responding to day to day client queries, for new business, renewals and adjustments.

Checking and issuing policy documentation.

Liaising with Insurers/Underwriters.

Working alongside Commercial Account Executives, to provide a seamless first class service for existing and new clients.

Working under delegated scheme underwriting authorities as well as quoting for and placing in the open market, and applications are welcome from an Insurer as well as Broking background.

Skills & experience required:

2-4 years + current/recent Commercial Broking experience.
Applicants should be able offer a good all round technical knowledge of the major classes of Commercial risks - Property, Liability, Business Interruption, Commercial Combined, including experience of dealing with larger/corporate accounts.

Cert CII/progress with CII study is an advantage, and is fully supported.
