Creative Manager

All of our products and brands are developed in-house; utilising pioneering active ingredients and technologies coupled with the strength of our dynamic in-house marketing and design teams to bring the brands to life. What we are looking for:

We are looking for a creative genius that will join us in the amazing journey we have planned for our brands. You will be the main mind behind our current and future brands, from conceptualisation of brands and products to creating the next big thing in beauty that will be on retail shelves around the world.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading creative direction and vision for all Pangaea brands

  • Providing analysis and information for strategic decision-making

  • Implementation & execution of creative projects /activities to support the marketing strategy

  • Leading creative initiatives and developing procedures in line with directed marketing strategy

  • Generation of concepts & ideas to keep design activity relevant

  • Adding value through knowledge of industry and creation /development of new ideas & concepts

  • With a clear understanding of the project proposals, prioritise and help to plan each project to ensure deadlines and timelines can be met

  • Supporting and mentoring the more junior designers in the brand hubs technically with artwork set up and creative ideas across all touchpoints: digital, packaging, print

  • Final sign off of digital and physical proofs of all marketing materials across all brands (including pre-production samples so knowledge of print and production processes are essential)

  • Art direction on brand photoshoots working with brand hub teams

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • A fantastic ability to sketch out your ideas and bring them to life.

  • Constantly push the norm and boundaries of the category you are designing for

  • Great conceptual ideas

  • An interest in the beauty industry and a great sense of luxury style

  • Operational - understands the company and brand directions and the importance of timely & accurate design projects

  • Able to manage partnerships and and assist with allocating work resources effectively

Experience required

  • Minimum 6 years experience in a similar role

  • Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and all relevant programmes for packaging design.
