My client a well established  Investments and  Mortgages company is actively looking to recruit a skilled Complaints Handler to join their Team in Basingstoke.  A stand alone role, the Compliants Manager will be responsible for covering FCA and COB's on the complaints side and be confident in handling often complex complaints from start to finish. 

Key responsibilities for the role will include the following:-

• Compliant and timely investigation and completion of Complaints
• Key point of contact by phone by complainants
• Investigation and reporting of Breaches
• Investigation and completion of Suspicious Activity Reports
• Assessment of all High Risk and Politically-Exposed Persons
• Key contact for complaints received via the Financial Ombudsman Service
• Liaison with compliance and MLRO for best practice
• Validation of Complaint Regulatory Reporting
• Key contact with Senior Management to complex cases
• Root cause analysis of Breach and Complaints
• Scheduled reviews and monitoring of the Investment Register
• Key contact for incidents across departments
• Chair Breach and Complaints review meetings with Senior Management Team
• Maintain registers of Breaches and Complaints and liaise with Head of Investment Operations regarding trends and knowledge gaps.

To be considered you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:-

3 Years experience in Financial Services Complaints Handling
Industry knowledge of complaint handling
High level of customer service skilled in both verbal and written formats
Understanding of COBS and Data Protection regulations
Investment Operation Qualification desirable but not essential
