My client, a specialist payments and financial messaging consultancy is looking for a SWIFT Technical Consultant to join their team.

Location: London

You will work with the leading products that my client offers. It will be your responsibility to deliver consultancy services to key accounts and Bureau Support. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Delivery of consultancy services to key accounts
  • To assist the Senior Deployment Manager with the effective delivery of consultancy and supporting services to customers of Financial Messaging London ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Guidance of other consultants and consultancy services
  • Assist with the maintenance and where possible development of technical resources and documentation (e.g. HealthCheck forms, software, installation checklists/plans, etc.)
  • Investigation and analysis of technical and Production issues as they arise
  • Holding a position on the out of hours call rota to support clients own infrastructure and that of the Service Bureau
  • Manning the Helpdesk from as required

As this role can potentially offer travel you must be able to work in the UK and Europe unrestricted (travel approximate 0 - 25%).

In order to apply, candidates must have:

  • Minimum 5 years IT experience in financial services technical support role
  • Knowledge of SWIFT and SWIFT Operations (Alliance Access / Alliance Gateway)
  • Windows 2008/2012 (To advanced user/basic administration level)
  • Linux / Unix (To advanced user/basic administration level)
  • Solid documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • An interest in Financial Services
