The newly created position of Brand Strategy Director (BSD) is one of high responsibility within this media organisation. The key objective of delivering growth through strategic and product innovation, together with the leadership demands of managing a high performing team, make this both a challenging and rewarding role.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the BSD will have direct responsibility for the P&L of the vertical, driving growth and innovation within existing products, as well as deciding on new markets to enter and creating new business models to achieve this.
The role will also involve synergistic strategic and practical oversight of the product, sales, content marketing and operations teams to deliver more effective physical and digital client solutions, outcome-oriented customer experiences and enhanced revenue opportunities.
The private equity and venture capital series of approximately 14 events, including their 2000 delegate strong flaghsip event, is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced executive able to demonstrate the following skills:
- The strategic and creative flair to enhance the growth trajectory of the global private equity and venture capital events at this time of evolving customer needs and changing market dynamics.
- A strong track record of delivering and maintaining continuous outperformance among an experienced sales team, a high-achieving production team and a dynamic content marketing team.
- The proven ability to design, implement and monetise new product formats to meet changing client demands.
- An ability to accurately analyse the financial dynamics of event performance and portfolio P&L
