Part Time Support Worker / Trainee Support Worker - Spider. The region`s Fixed Fee Web Recruitment Company are pleased to be supporting this not-for-profit organisation in their search for Support Workers to join the team based in Sawston, on the outskirts of Cambridge. As a Support Worker / Trainee Support Worker, you will join the dedicated organisation providing supported housing to people experiencing mental health difficulties.
Your role will involve providing support, advice and advocacy to assist users of the service to develop a lifestyle which promotes good physical and mental health. As a Support Worker/ Trainee Support Worker you will have a can do attitude and a genuine interest in supporting clients to manage their recovery enabling them to increase their independence. An integral part of the team you will be a good communicator, able to relate to people in a supportive manner.
Knowledge of supported housing, social care and/or previous experience in a similar field would be desirable however, there is an opportunity to learn on the job and gain experience as a Trainee Support Worker. This role also requires basic IT and administration skills.

As a Part Time Support Worker/Trainee Support Worker you will work 18.5 hours per week, receiving a competitive salary of £16,200 - £18,630 per annum (pro rata as part time) dependent on experience, as well as ongoing training and support, an attractive benefits package. Also, sleep in shift payments in addition to salary.
