The Company

Our client is a leading IT based services partner for the Public Services and Regulated Markets offering advanced Digital Transformation, Critical Software and Outsourcing Solutions. There unique combination of these solutions makes them a leading partner across public sector and commercial organisation's growing the use of software applications to facilitate modern high quality services through strategic partnerships.

With over 25 year's experience in Government, Education, Health and Regulated markets their expertise cover a wide range of solutions include Cloud Computing, Managed Services, Business Process Services, Mobile Working, Digital Solutions and Software Asset Management. Due to recent success and expansion they are now looking to recruit a Cloud Sales Manager to grow their cloud and managed hosting offerings to corporate clients across the organisation.

The Role:

The role is to increase the % of our client's software applications hosted on cloud or Publco Cloud platforms. To be a sales leader and key driver in increasing Cloud, SaaS and Hosting sales across the company's software portfolio

Work with internal Software Business Units to support the development of Cloud based propositions, commercial offerings, marketing and successful sales campaigns to both new and existing clients

Drive internal education and awareness of our client's cloud capability, proposition and benefits

Work with Business Unit Sales teams to proactively identify, propose and successfully close Cloud Software in to new and existing clients

Engage with senior stakeholders to define, agree and execute on Cloud sales plans

Work with key stakeholders and technical teams to support the 'Cloud Acceleration' of our clients Software by developing a strong understanding of the market opportunity, client needs and both the commercial and service offering

Identify opportunities in existing clients to x-sell the companies broader IT Managed Service capability

Work Experience and Skill:

Technology/Market

A strong technology understanding, particularly of Cloud & Hosting services and Microsoft offerings

Experience, passion and success in driving sales through partners/partnering. Credible in building relationships and got to market proposition/plan at all levels of a partner organisation (management, sales, technical)

Demonstrates understanding of: Partner business models, business strategy, cloud solutions, financial analysis, marketing planning and customer management frameworks

Ability to work well in and lead a virtual team, including marketing, sales, senior management and technical

A solid understanding of the Public Sector IT market

Possesses excellent collaboration skills with ability to influence across all levels of an organisation

Self-driven, results oriented and entrepreneurial

Qualifications:

Competitive base salary OTE (bonus plus/commission), pension, healthcare and car allowance

National location, but happy to travel to key locations in Leeds, London, Bristol and Birmingham on a regular basis
