My client a very wealthy and prestigious Wealth Planning IFA Practice is actively looking to recruit a skilled HNW Paraplanner to work confidentialy on a remote basis, in a good geographical location to their Head Office in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.  This is a fantastic opportunity and the candidate must have hands on Report writing skills at Technical Level and be confident in the ability to work at a Technical level remotely.  This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be rewarded for your skills. 

The main duties will include the following:-

The role of the Technical Specialist is to support the Financial Planner(s) and Adviser(s) when informing and advising Clients on financial strategies, plans and products.   You will play a key part in delivering excellent levels of service for our clients. You will have client contact and must be comfortable to develop relationships.

• Supporting the Financial Planner(s) and Adviser(s) in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives
• Supporting the Financial Planner(s) and Adviser(s) in preparing Client financial plans and suitability reports
• Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
• Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities
• Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs
• Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally.
• The technical aspects of preparing for Client meetings, including:
o Preparing and compiling financial analysis data
o Analysing Client data and preparing cash flow analyses
o Researching products to support recommendations
o Compiling financial planning recommendations and overseeing production of suitability reports
o Providing support for the Financial Planner(s) and Adviser(s)
o Ensuring that all regulatory and compliance standards are met
o Liaising with product providers and other relevant third parties
o Ensuring that all Client requirements are followed through to the appropriate conclusion
o Managing, recording and monitoring Client annual reviews on behalf of the Financial Planner(s) and Adviser(s)
• Assisting the Financial Planner(s) and Adviser(s) with Client presentations and any other activities as agreed
• Keeping internal briefing notes up to date with the support of the Technical Manager
• Individual workflow and task delivery
• Assisting the Technical Manager with annual technical reviews of services and products.

The role holder may be required to travel for Client visits. This may involve working outside office hours.

The role holder will keep up to date with legislative and industry changes which affect the business and its Clients.

The role holder may, from time to time, be required to undertake reasonable additional or other duties as are necessary to meet the needs of the business.

To be considered you must be able to demonstrate the following:-

• Ability to confidently work with Adviser Office (1st Software/Iress)
• Familiarity with Selectapension and/or Financial Express Analytics and /or Cashflow        Management tools such as Truth or Voyant

In order to be considered you must be able to demonstrate a minimum of Full Diploma Qualification and currently be working within a Paraplanning role writing technical reports
