Rocco Forte Hotels presently has ten luxury hotels in nine European city centres and one resort in Sicily, with our first property in the Middle East opening late 2015. Our properties are supported by our central support office located on Jermyn Street in the heart of London.

We are currently looking for a Group Digital Marketing Manager for our luxury hotel brand Head Office based in Central London.
Working within a team of 6 in the marketing department in a holistic approach covering areas such as CRM, marketing programs and affinity partnerships, public relations and brand communication. Responsibilities will be divided among the team depending on the level of experience of the successful candidate.

The role will include:

Digital Strategy: Working alongside team members in developing and implementing an integrated online communication strategy spanning all digital channels, including organic and paid search, affiliates, display media, social media and other industry related channels, for all source markets, target segments and hotels, in line with Rocco Forte Hotels' wider brand marketing strategy

Consistent Communication: Ensure consistency of communication across all channels and on-brand messaging and ensure that all channels are kept up to date and all current technologies are considered
Building Internal Knowledge & Experience: Build the digital marketing capabilities of the brand, developing the hotels' knowledge of the area

Agency Management: Working closely with the appointed digital agencies to ensure that digital efforts are managed effectively

Improving Performance: Drive revenue, visitor engagement, conversion, ROI, innovation and analysis across digital channels for the brand and individual properties

Budget Management: Manage all marketing-related spending on digital platforms and
Review Performance/Reporting/Analytics: Evaluate the effectiveness of current online strategies and engage visitors and other stakeholder audiences to create new conversations and communities. Provide regular analytics and support services to gauge and improve Rocco Forte Hotels' brand positioning and maximising ROI.

Research: Lead an effective market research and analytics effort to better understand the target audience and best practice, innovations required to reach different market segments. Provide important and relevant intelligence regarding competitor marketing and branding efforts and strategies as well as applying this knowledge towards a successful strategy.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:
• Extensive previous experience in digital and marketing
• Previous experience of working in the luxury sector OR online retail would be an advantage
• Able to hit the ground running
• Ability to manage agencies and ensure that they perform well
• Able to hold their own in conversations with senior management
• Analytical
• Strategic, yet with the ability to delve into detail
• Budgeting experience
• Energetic, enthusiastic, an ideas person
• Communicative
• Clear-minded
• Multiple European languages are an advantage
• Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
