Senior Pre-sales & Principal Consultants up to £85,000 + bonus and benfits Both positions require Pre-Sales experience ( ideally in data-management software) In the face of a constantly shifting competitive landscape this leading Data Management Software Consultancy enables its customers to make informed business decisions through the provision and interpretation of reliable data. From organic growth and new business the Professional Services division is looking to add a Pre-sales Senior Consultant and a Pre-sales Principal Consultant to their team. Both roles will be responsible for generating new business and supporting sales of innovative, data management solutions to clients. You will acquire an in-depth knowledge on services and products to enable the building of valuable customer relationships, both internally and externally. You will also help facilitate the client's technical understanding of data quality products. Clients include: retail, finance, insurance, charities, leisure, healthcare, public service, and utilities. Working in a consultancy environment, you will be working on many projects simultaneously. What the role involves : Data Consulting - Working closely with clients in order to help them extract the most value from their data. Pre-sales support - Assisting the sales team in terms of data quality services and products. Product workshops and demonstrations - Working with senior management in requirement gathering sessions. Product consultation & strategy - By understanding the clients requirements you will assist in providing quantifiable recommendations on how existing products and services can be of benefit and eventually implemented. Additional responsibilities for Principal Consultant Ability to identify opportunities in the market, develop new propositions, proof of concepts and market strategies. Ability to skillfully relate to clients and understand their challenges. Generating fresh solutions to problems which will improve strategic decision making and increase your ability to lead teams and manage successful projects. Working closely with the marketing team to build marketing collateral in order to support sales. Keeping up to date with what is going on in the industry and regularly proposing what can be done for clients.( Q&A, competency based questions, discussions around the market place etc.) The Pre-Sales Senior Sales Consultant would be expected to have awareness of the above responsibilities for the Pre-Sales Principal Consultant but would not be expected to have done the above. Minimum requirements for both roles: Candidates MUST HAVE pre-sales experience ( ideally in data management software). Graduate calibre ( 2:1 or above, ideally in computer science, maths, business discipline) or equivalent qualifications. Ambitious individual who is commercially astute with good negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and to time constraints. A methodical approach to solving problems and strong troubleshooting skills. The candidate would ideally have a proven background in software consultancy including software solutions. Ideally have experience with data quality projects incorpoorating elements of cleansing: validation, de-duplication, data migration, data auditing, analysis etc… Experience responding to RFI/RFP tenders. Understands web technologies and database technologies. Why you should apply?
