My client is an established technology firm based near Bank, in the City of London. They are a specialist in providing connectivity, infrastructure, data centre and cloud service solutions. They have built themselves organically and sustainably over the past eight years and now, with further investment this year, are looking to expand the firm by around 50% over the next twelve months. Their focus is providing a reliable, honest and comprehensive service to all their clients, from the first point of contact, through to the presentation of the architecture of the proposed solution and constant support from implementation.

Day to day

You will be responsible for generating new sales from new business prospects. You will be required to generate and manage your own pipeline, from lead generation through to close of sale. You’ll also be able to benefit from powerful in house sales tools with data-driven marketing campaigns and powerful lead gen software, to assist you build your pipeline of consistent and regular monthly revenue.

Skills and experience required:

  • 3+ years proven track record in IT/Telecoms sales - Ideally selling DIA, VPLS, MPLS, data centre, managed services or cloud services.
  • Proven track record of winning new business.
  • Positive, can do attitude.
  • Excellent, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.

Primary tasks:

  • Generate new business sales to target and managing the entirety of the sales cycle, from initial contact to close.
  • Lead generation through follow-ups from digital marketing campaigns, telemarketing, referrals and networking.
  • Reporting to the business throughout and formulating accurate sales forecasts.
