Consultant Analyst

Leading consultancy based in Central London are looking for a Consultancy Analyst to join their team. The consultancy provides some of the largest global institutions (e.g. banks, payment card and service providers, telco, healthcare etc.) and some of the leading FinTech and Alternative Finance companies with innovative, evidence-led insight. For this purpose, they have a well-established and dedicated team focused on tracking and anticipating key trends on a global level for our clients. Using their commercial mind-set and creativity, they turn a vast array of data into ready-to-use knowledge that informs, or transforms their client's marketing strategy.

They are currently looking for a Consultant Analyst with a keen interest in quantitative consumer research. You will have experience working within an analytics team at a strategy consultancy or research agency with a history of academic achievement.

Key elements of the role

*Customer research: using quantitative and qualitative research, amongst consumers and businesses, to inform strategic decisions; you will be expected to work collaboratively from initial brief to final presentation, managing the project and supporting the team in order to exceed client's expectations
*Market modelling and forecasting: including a range of approaches from analysing scarce business intelligence to sizing opportunities for our clients, and optimising product design and pricing using scenario modelling from customer or research data; you will develop robust statistical models using a variety of techniques (e.g. regression, conjoint analysis, segmentation) and communicate the results within set deadlines
*Presentation creation: drawing sound conclusions from the above information (including executive summaries and client recommendations) and communicating these effectively; you will deliver clear and inspiring presentations, both written and verbal
*Working on every stage of the project life cycle, from questionnaire design and survey scripting to data analysis and report writing; you will independently manage projects of 1 or 2 team members, structuring their work in addition to your own

What they are looking for

*Advanced Excel proficiency along with knowledge of a programming language. Familiarity with Q Research, SPSS and Sawtooth Software would be an advantage
*An eye for detail is essential and a passion and interest in marketing science, quantitative analysis, statistics and modelling is required
*Commercial awareness and understanding of core economic principles
*Demonstrable experience of working in a demanding environment and be able to efficiently manage time, communicate effectively, be enthusiastic and also diplomatic
*An ability to:
oCreate compelling PowerPoint presentations and deliver them with confidence
oIndependently build relationships with team members and client staff
oOrganise and document work in a thorough and transparent manner
oDemonstrate the capacity for creativity and original thinking
