SF Group are currently looking for an EMEA M&A Manager for my product lead client based in the Woking office with regular overseas travel.

This permanent position is in place to lead the M&A strategy across the EMEA region.

Day to Day Responsibilities include:

  • Working on a variety of buy-side transaction processes, covering financial analyses, due diligence and post acquisition integration plans
  • Prepare briefing and discussion materials on recommended transactions for the EMEA Management Team
  • Working in close cooperation with the Market Regional Managers and their CFOs on various deal situations
  • As part of the EMEA M&A team, to assist identify, evaluate and monitor acquisition targets as well as to work on existing deals through to completion
  • Support the due diligence process, working as part of the internal teams and with external teams, to cover all deal aspects, including but not limited to financial, legal, tax & operational matters
  • Prepare presentations for EMEA HQ and Group Head Office approval
  • Preparation of ad hoc research and analysis on various industry related topics and preparation of senior management and board level reports & presentations

The ideal person will be/have:

  • M&A experience is a must
  • BA or BS degree (Finance content helpful)
  • The ideal candidate should have a can-do attitude with a well-developed attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure
  • Willingness to learn fast and the ability to apply it creatively to diverse M&A situations is key
  • A high degree of competency in applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good organisation skills as well as sound judgement, particularly in numerical matters, are essential
  • Drive, determination and stamina to meet deadlines and address challenges while working on various projects simultaneously
  • Financial modelling and the ability to work and travel efficiently in an international environment required
  • Strong analytical skills and IFRS knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will interact with the organisation's senior management
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Additional foreign languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel extensively
