Business Intelligence Analyst is required to join a leading and respected company from their head office based in central Winchester.

The role of a Business Intelligence Analyst is to produce management information and business intelligence for both external and internal use that will further enhance the performance of my client. You will:

  • Produce regular Business Intelligence (BI) and Management Information (MI) to enable management to monitor performance and to assist strategic planning
  • Lead analytical projects
  • Provide insight to segmentation and targeting activities
  • Consistently deliver to accuracy and timescale targets
  • Create and maintain automated reports for both business analysis and admin data checks
  • Design reporting methods in order to present information in the most useful way
  • Analyse practice performance to identify trends, patterns, opportunities and risks, reporting the results to provide insight to the team, management and the wider company
  • Compile information to upload to business databases to use for further analysis and administrative purposes
  • Gain and maintain expertise in all areas of the data to enable effective analysis and data migration when appropriate
  • Ensure that all data is monitored and kept as up to date and robust as possible
  • Work with other team analysts in developing and maintaining analysis tools for the wider team
  • Delegate simple BAU analysis and data monitoring to the team where appropriate

The correct individual for the Business intelligence Analyst will be working within a similar role at the moment and will have:

  • Experience of business analysis and reporting
  • Experience of change management
  • Experience of reporting applications (e.g. SQL Server Reporting Services)
  • Strong skills in reporting languages and applications essential (SSRS, VBA, SQL, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel essential
  • Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) essential
  • Detailed knowledge of analytical methods
  • Very strong attention to detail
