CRM Manager / £35,000 - £42,000 / Central London based

What are we looking for:

We are looking for somebody who can support the Digital Marketing Manager to develop CRM strategy and deliver CRM programmes which will increase guest frequency and value through strategically driven one to one marketing.

The role provides the right individual a unique opportunity to make their mark on a fast paced business where both IT and marketing within it are still in their relative infancy.

You in a nutshell:

We are looking for somebody with a passion for CRM. Multi- site, retail digital marketing experience would be preferred. An understanding and passion for the casual dining market would be a huge advantage.

You will be a 'hands on’, organised person who is used to working with agencies and 3rd parties, juggling multiple projects and delivering to tight timescales. You’ll also be commercially minded and able to effectively analyse results to build commercial returns.

What you’ll do:

eCRM

  • Management of all email/SMS marketing campaigns, creating content, building and broadcasting email/SMS using campaign management tools & our email broadcast platform

  • Working with the Digital Marketing Manager & Agencies build CRM strategy incorporating segmentation, personalization and targeting to increase customer value.

  • Create, test and refine automated and targeted customer lifecycle marketing programs that promote customer loyalty, re-engage lapsed customers, and drive new customer acquisition, etc.

  • Working with agencies to develop and test email creative to optimise email CTR

  • Work with the external email vendor and agencies to understand developments and best practice in email and SMS marketing

  • Manage final sign off and checks of all email/sms activity

    Database Growth / Management

  • Develop plans to increase the database & improve the information held at a customer record level

  • Manage or support on any projects related to customer data such as WIFI integration

  • Work with IT & Agencies to ensure that all data feeds are working correctly, including managing any ad hoc data imports

  • Develop and execute in restaurant initiatives to gather new customer data, working with the Local Marketing Manager where relevant to execute at a local level.

    Campaigns

  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager & Digital Marketing Executive to ensure that all campaign activity is effectively executed through CRM channels

    Website & App

  • Manage & optimise data capture through website, app and social channels including future development of single sign in functionality

Partnerships / 3rd Parties

  • Develop and manage partnership opportunities to grow the database

Tracking, reporting, analysis & insight

  • Managing a CRM Analyst to;

    • Ensure that all CRM activity is fully tracked end to end

    • Provide weekly/monthly reports of all CRM and database activity including actionable next steps

    • Working with agencies and using BI Tools (faststats) to produce customer insight, analysis and recommendations for the marketing team and wider business to help drive the business forward

      Other responsibilities

  • Assisting with other ad-hoc duties as they arise and the role evolves

  • Mentoring other member of the marketing team to increase their digital skills

What experience you’ll need:

Essential

  • Experience of working with digital agencies to brief and manage marketing campaigns

  • Experience of building and executing behaviour based CRM campaigns

  • Experience of managing and broadcasting email marketing

  • Experience of using Excel to produce reports & manage data

  • Experience of managing marketing databases

  • Experience using Exact Target or another ESP

  • Knowledge of web analytics
