We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic trust fundraiser to help develop and maintain trust income for an inspirational charity based in London.

The Company

A fantastic charity who provide a wide range of support to help people remain living in their own homes through to residential care when this is no longer an option.Their range of services rely on voluntary income and the support of donors, fundraisers, trust and corporate supporters and legacies.

The Role
You will lead on growing new and existing relationships with a range of small to medium trusts, conduct prospect research, report back to funders and create compelling proposals.

Be primarily responsible for prioritising, developing and submitting compelling applications and reports to trust donors.
Maximise income by building and maintaining relationships with existing portfolio of trust donors through excellent relationship management, both personally and using key stakeholders across the charity.
Use the database (Raisers Edge) to maintain accurate and detailed records, and manage relationships, actions and deadlines.
Re-engage lapsed funders and increase donation levels from existing funders.
Research and identify new trusts, and write and submit high quality, targeted appeals to secure support from new funders.

The Candidate
The Successful candidate will have strong communication and excellent written skills. You will also have excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines. You will be enthusiastic, cooperative have a flexible professional attitude and be able to work effectively as part of a small team.

Experience of writing successful trust applications
Experience of building and maintaining relationships with funders
Experience of using a database to record information and generate reports
Experience of writing funding reports
Experience of researching and identifying potential funding prospects
Proven success in achieving and exceeding fundraising targets.
