Redex Recruitment are currently working with a leading wholesale distribution company based in Leyton, East London. Due to continued growth within the business they are now looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.
Duties for the role will include:
- Contacting customers when payment is overdue via email or telephone
- Asking customers to settle their accounts and explaining their credit terms and credit limit
- Updating credit records and account activity
- Re-negotiating repayment plans if customers are in financial difficulties
- Setting up and maintaining customer files
- Update payments received from customers against outstanding invoices.
- Visiting debtors to collect payments
- Tracing missing debtors
- Arranging for goods to be repossessed to cover the outstanding debt
- Resolving outstanding queries
- Ensure credit notes are valid before allowing deductions
This position is full time although for the right person flexible part-time hours will also be considered.
